Important Announcement: The English 909 to Cease Broadcasting in 2027.
After many unforgettable years of sharing music, community event information, and unforgettable moments with awake listeners across the world, we will permanently close and cease all online broadcasts in 2027.
Why We Are Closing This was a deeply difficult decision made after careful consideration. Shifts in operational costs have made it unsustainable for us to continue broadcasting with an 80% reduction in donations & online sales, losing the stations main sponsor and awakened souls vibrating at different frequencies (+ 3D/4D/5D) which has made unity extremely difficult at the present time.
What Happens Next
Final Broadcast Date: Daily programming of the ‘upbeat’ music will end on 31st December 2026. From 1st January 2027 the station will begin playing 24 hour ‘chilled’ music until the stream ends. The exact date will be officially announced early 2027 on-air and via this announcement.
Subscriptions & Donations: All recurring donations will be automatically cancelled as of the final day of the station broadcasting. No further charges will occur after this date and you will receive email confirmation of this.
Online Orders: Website orders will be shipped as normal whilst the station is still broadcasting.
A Heartfelt Thank You: To our loyal listeners, DJs, and those who have financially made donations/purchased from us or advertised on the station thank you. You helped build this community for nearly 7 years and tuned in day after day. Running this station has been an honour, and we are immensely grateful to have been apart of your life during these turbulent times.
We did make a promise to you all since 2020, that we would never sell our soul and to always remain absolutely 100% independent. We kept that promise.
On the final day, we will go out with a huge bang by playing the most loved music this station has played since the very beginning in 2020 (literally a full variety old and new, cheese to trance, rave to disco) plus the entire jingle collection including those that never made it to air and ones which have not broadcast since the early days. Be warned some listeners may find them offensive, rude or utterly inappropriate (quite frankly we don't care!)
